Jan Pokorný graduated from the West Bohemian University Faculty of Law in Pilsen in 2010. During his studies he attended a course at the Metropolitan University in Manchester focusing on international law and European Community law. Between 2008 and 2009, he studied Political Sciences at the Università degli Studi di Milano. In 2014 he passed the bar exam and completed his practice focusing primarily on intellectual property law and criminal law. He continues to deepen this specialization as an attorney. On the field of Intellectual Property Jan mainly provides legal services concerning trademarks on the national, European and international level. He also provides legal services concerning the industrial and utility models etc. As a part of this agenda he files the applications and administers the industrial property of our clients, he also makes researches in particular databases and represents our clients at administrative authorities and courts. Jan has also experience with domain disputes. On the field of criminal law Jan provides comprehensive legal services from the beginning of criminal proceeding as the defence counsel as well as the representative of the injured. He represents our clients in pre-trial proceeding as well as at courts. 2 Beside the specializations mentioned above Jan focuses also on civil and commercial contract law.
Jan is competent in English and also understands Italian.
